The National is a fantastic moody dad-rock band that formed in 1999 in Brooklyn, New York.
The band consists of Matt Berninger (Vocals), twin brothers Aaron Dessner (guitar, piano, keyboards) and Bryce Dessner (guitar, piano, keyboards)
as well as Scott Devendorf on bass and Bryan Davendorf on Drums.
The National is my favorite band because I found them during a pivotal moment in my life as an adult, as well as the first concert I even went to
Vocalist Matt Berninger writes strong, emotional lyrics that hit hard and make me think about my life in different ways. Their melancholic sound
has a great vibe to jam out to, but also to self reflect.
